Scarlet Horvath, Feature Writer
Scarlet is a senior at Struthers High School. She is a Feature Writer in Journalism I.
Scarlet’s favorite part about school is being able to go to sporting events and being involved in clubs. Her favorite months of school are the first couple because it's football and volleyball season. She loves getting dressed in the themes for the football game and going with her friends. She’s been playing volleyball since 7th grade and plans to pursue her athletic career in college. Other than sporting events, Scarlet is involved in clubs and volunteer work. She is in an Interact club, Future Teachers Club, and Medical Careers Club. She is also in the National Honor Society which means she has 20 plus service points.
Outside of school, Scarlet loves to hang out with her friends. During volleyball season, she doesn’t have much free time but when she does she spends her time shopping and getting starbucks. Outside of school athletics, she is a competitive cheerleader for Steel Valley Cheer and a travel volleyball player for Mahoning Valley Volleyball club.
