Any advice you would give for the underclassmen about college? I’ll tell them to continue to make sure that their major requires them to go to college. Sometimes people go to college not realizing that they didn’t need to go to get into that career. Not only that, but I’ll tell them that if they plan to go there, to get as many scholarships as they can get. My parents always told me that, and I believe that they need to hear that as well. Lastly, I’ll tell them to love and take care of themselves. College is going to be a lot of work and we can forget to give ourselves the love and care needed. Like I always say to myself, “Be yourself, don’t hate yourself.”

What aren’t you looking forward to in college? I am not looking forward to the stress and the fact that I’d be an adult by then. I have done some things in my life that are already adult-like responsibilities, but change is not a thing for me.
Any advice you would give for the underclassmen about college? I would tell underclassmen what my mom has always told me: don’t go to college unless you are 100 percent sure you are using that degree for your career. Also, you can have fun whenever you want, but also be serious about your studies. It is not like k-12 and you have to pay for your classes–even more if you fail.
