Aubrey Morgan, freshman, is a member of the Show Choir.

The Show Choir performers have their last concert of the season on May 14th at Struthers Middle School.

The feeling of the last concert of the year is stressful, exciting and memorable. Show Choir brings stress on everyone around the time of concerts. The feeling of having to perfect everything within a set amount of time, knowing that there’s still a lot to perfect, is stressful.

Near the end of the deadline, Show Choir becomes stressful.

“It’s very stressful around this time of year because I’m trying to force on grades and the concert,” says freshman Aubrey Morgan.

The last Show Choir concert of the year in 2024 is exciting for many of the students that are involved and the teacher/choreographer. Everyone is excited to see the outcome of their hard work, especially the teachers, Mrs. Russo and Abbey Brodnan. They put a lot of effort and mind into the concert and dance process. Both have to work with one another in order to get the students prepared for the concert.

Seniors have their last moments in the Show Choir.

“I am very sad because when I was a freshman I felt that I was never going to be done with my concerts and now I feel like, ‘Oh my god, I’m never doing this again,’’’ says senior Bella Sferra.

The Show Choir is very memorable. The students make memories with each other and the dance. Sometimes the students will hear a song they performed the previous year and sing the song. Sometimes they will catch themselves doing the dance moves. Most of the students make memories that live with them for a long time.

Students would love to have another look at the past show choir moments.

“I would relive my first-ever show choir concert because it started my love for show choir,” says Alexandra Milad.

The students make the Show Choir experience. If they have a positive attitude/energy in the room, others tend to have the same positive attitude/energy. The students feel the beat and rhythm. They feel themselves and step outside their comfort zone. The environment makes it easier for them to get out there and make the best of the year.
