Lexa Tovtin is a multi-sport athlete from Struthers High School, who is signing to Seton Hill University.
Tovtin is signing to Seton Hill University for track and field, but she also plays softball and soccer. The athlete also excels in the classroom holding a 3.25 GPA. Right now, the softball player is preparing for college by getting more scholarships, as well as looking at clubs she could join.
The senior has always been good at maintaining both school and athletics.
“It was pretty easy for me because it is all I’ve known. I have always played sports while also juggling my school work,” says Tovtin.
The athlete chose Seton Hill University because it was the perfect college for her in many ways. The recruiting process was easy for the senior because she did it through NCSA. NCAS made the process simple for her because it was an easy access for the coaches to contact her.
Tovtin is excited to start her new chapter at Seton Hill University.
“It was genuinely the perfect college for me. I was looking for a college that was beneficial for me, both academically and athletically, and I wanted a religious college,” says Tovtin.
The Struthers student plans to study biology pre-med with a minor in Spanish for her future. The athlete has received her merit scholarship from the school. Now, she is looking for more money towards athletics scholarships.
Seton Hill University is a D2 school, so she can get money for athletics.
“So far, I received my merit scholarship from the school, and now I am just waiting on my athletic scholarship,” says Tovtin.
