Isabella Sferra is a senior at Struthers High School. She has a great passion for Show Choir and has found a great love for it. She has been singing and performing for Show Choir since she was in the 7th grade. She is president of Show Choir and has even lettered for all of her accompaniments.
Sferra has some struggles with choir.
“In the beginning, I was super nervous and I used to sike myself out and mess up, but now, as long as I focus, I am fine,” says Sferra.
As a performer, everyone gets those nervous jitters before a big performance. But like everyone, she perseveres, gets her courage up, and does amazing with all of her performances.
Sferra has deep affection for Show Choir.
“[I joined] when I was in 7th grade because I thought it was something fun to try and now I have fallen in love with music, singing, and dancing,” says Sferra.
She really has a deep love for Show Choir, since she has been performing in it for around 5-6 years now. It truly shows her passion for singing and dancing, which is such a great thing for her.
Sferra plans for the future.
“I am going to Youngstown State University for music education and becoming a music teacher. Hopefully, it can be at Struthers High School since that is where I found my future career,” says Sferra.
Struthers High School has had a great impact on Sferra’s life. She has done it with her whole heart and has made great memories. She has also made long time friendships because of something she started in 7th grade.
