Ella Bailey, sophomore, is ready for the softball season.

Ella Bailey is a sophomore at Struthers High School. She plays softball and is very excited for the upcoming season this spring.

Bailey has the goal to get more varsity reps this year and will work endlessly to do so. She is very hard working and always pushes herself to improvement. Bailey understands the game very well and likes to field so she can help bring the team to victory.

The athlete wants to try her hardest on the field to get reps in for varsity.

“I want to work hard to get varsity reps, and I’m gonna do that by trying my best on the field,” says the student.

The sophomore is very good at defense but even better at offense. She is always striving to be the best hitter and working hard during practice. Bailey makes sure that she gets her reps in during hitting so it’s easier to make contact with the ball. She practices very hard every practice to improve and uses the coach’s advice to get better.

Bailey thinks that she is victorious at making contact and hitting during offense.

“My best skill is hitting. I’m good at making contact with the ball,” says the player.

As hard as Bailey works on the field, she still makes sure that she socializes with people just as much. She has gotten very close with the softball team and is very happy that she bonds so well with them. She is very proud of them for how good they’ve been working and knows that we’ll have a good team this year.

Bailey loves playing softball with her friends, and she knows that they are always pushing themselves.

“I really enjoy playing softball with my friends. They are the best friends I’ve had, and they work hard,” says Bailey.
