Marvel dropped a new movie that got many fans and movie goers back into the theaters. This new movie is named “The Marvels,” which features another feat into Captain Marvel’s journey.

“The Marvels” features three Marvel characters that are induced on a galactic adventure to prevent destruction of time and space. These three characters are named Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Photon. Actors that starred in this movie are Brie Larrson, Iman Vellani, Lashana Lynch, Zawe Ashton and Samuel L. Jackson. The movie was released on Friday, November 10, 2023. It received 61% on Rotten Tomatoes with a 83% audience score.

The movie’s story features the main protagonists, Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Photon, having a struggle with their abilities all throughout the film. Their powers link each other up due to the feature in time. The main antagonist, Dar-Benn, tries to get revenge on Captain Marvel for destroying the AI mounted in the Kree Empire. With that in mind, this forces all three marvels to work together to stop Dar-Benn. This required all of them to learn how to use their powers effectively along with combining all their strength and effort.

The actors and the special effects in the movie brought the movie to life. From many greenscreen effects to CGI, it captures the interest of many fans. One such interest is the cat, Goose, actually being part of a whole different race. The showing of an otherworldly creature with the ability to consume and attack with only its tongue shows that the film’s main mood is being from another world. With the powers of the three Marvels, the effects used to represent their abilities brought an understanding to these abilities and powers.

Although the movie’s directed audience is pointed towards Marvel fans, many can find this movie interesting to watch. It is rated 4/5.
