“How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is a very popular Christmas movie. It was released on November 17, 2000, and the first movie was released on December 18, 1966.

“How the Grinch Stole Christmas” was a movie based on the Grinch and the people who lived in Whoville. At the beginning of the movie the narrator talks about Whoville and the people that live there. The beginning shows a lot of commotion and people getting ready for Christmas. They were walking on the streets, in stores and in cars. “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is a movie played a lot around or during Christmas time. The Grinch is a humanoid creature who hates Christmas but soon learns to love Christmas.

When the Grinch was a kid he made a gift for a girl by the name of Martha May, and when he went to give her the gift, the soon-to-be mayor Augustus Maywho made fun of him and the gift. Right after this experience, he hated Christmas and all the people that live in Whoville. He soon met a girl by the name of Cindy Lou Who whom he had saved from being sucked into the present machine. After this, Cindy Lou Who soon grew infatuated with the Grinch and he grew a soft spot for her. The Grinch broke into houses, dressed as Santa and stole anything he could get his hands on. Cindy Lou soon visited the Grinch again and invited him to the annual Whobilation.

Cindy Lou also nominated him for an award. When he went there he was greeted by his mothers and other people living in Whoville. The Grinch was having a good time until Mayor Augustus Maywho pulled out a pair of clippers that reminded the Grinch of his childhood. The Grinch grew rage, and he cut off the mayor’s hair and burned down the Christmas tree. He broke into Cindy Lou’s house, and Cindy Lou expressed how she thinks the Grinch should be visited on Christmas even after all the stuff that he has done. He soon took all the presents he had and brought them to the top of the mountain. Cindy appeared at the top of the Christmas presents, and the Grinch, for once in his life, worried about another person. The sled with all the presents soon began to slip and slide the mountain and the Grinch picked up the sled and brought her to safety.

The Grinch brought back all the presents and apologized for his actions and was forgiven by the police and the people of Whoville. The Grinch and Martha became a couple and hosted a Christmas party at the Grinchs’ place. The movie ends with everyone laughing and smiling and enjoying their Christmas feast.

The best scenes are when the Grinch’s heart grew. That was the best scene because that showed the emotion that he was feeling in that moment. Another scene would be when Cindy Lou went to the Grinchs’ house to invite him to their annual Whobilation. That was a good scene because it showed an act of kindness and forgiveness. A bad part would be when he broke into peoples’ houses and when he stole everything. He also put the mayor on a hook and pulled him out into the open for everyone to see him. The Grinch also has some inappropriate scenes that children shouldn’t see.

The movie rate would be 10/10. The reason for this is because the movie showed what a small act of kindness could do for one person to another. It is a great Christmas, and it has a beautiful storyline.
