Lucas Patti is a 17-year-old senior football player at Struthers High School.
Patti has been playing football since the 3rd grade; his positions include cornerback and receiver.
Patti was influenced by family to start playing football.
“My dad played as well as my older brother,” says Patti.
The athlete feels that it has been extremely fun being able to have made it into the playoffs. He actually prefers playoff games over regular season games.
Though, it would be disappointing if they didn’t make it to the end.
“I’m proud of how far we’ve come so far–any type of loss is disappointing,” says Patti.
Number 8 is currently undecided of what college he wants to attend, as well as his major. Also Patti says that he would love to continue playing football in college but believes it’s not in his best interest.
Patti gave a good piece of advice to incoming freshman football players.
“Stay the course, don’t get too high and don’t get too low on yourself,” says Patti.
