Anthony Carter is a senior at Struthers High School and his position is a running back.
He has been playing football for almost his whole life. When it came to high school football, that’s where his passion was raised. He was starting varsity ever since his freshman year and has been putting in hard work ever since.
Carter expresses his enjoyment for the upcoming playoffs.
“The feeling I have knowing that we made it this far in football is a great and amazing feeling overall,” says Carter.
Carter likes to feel the excitement of knowing they have a game on Friday night. When he does have a game, he has to prepare his mind for it. He likes to stay focused and listen to his music, so all of the distractions are out of his mind on the field. But when he does enter the field, that’s when his enjoyment really starts to peak.
Carter feels confident for the playoffs.
“I really do believe that we have a good chance of defeating the team in the playoffs, we will just have to push ourselves,” says Carter.
Carter has been doing everything he can do to prepare for the upcoming games. He has been preparing for the past few weeks, and he feels like him and the team can make this a big win. He has gained so much confidence for these games and hopes it will be a good outcome.
Carter hasn’t lost his motivation.
“I have been working very hard for the past few weeks, and I have also been doing good workouts to better myself for the game,” says Carter.
After this, the Wildcats will hope to beat their rivals Poland Bulldogs in the upcoming game. Like their coach always says, trUSt the climb!
