The movie “Coraline” is a stop-motion, eerie and spooky film that was directed, written and produced by Henry Selick.

The stop-motion film is all about Coraline Jones and exploring her new eerie home. She discovers a small door that requires a key, which leads Coraline to discover an alternate world that mirrors her own life but seems to be perfect. This later leads to conflict, and Coraline must fight her way free.

The film revolves around theories and what may happen next. The film leads you on, which keeps readers on the edge of their seat and often frustrated because of all the cliffhangers. Many believe that there should be a second “Coraline” movie.

The choice of music for the movie was very unique and gave off the perfect thrill and tension for the audience. All music was written by Bruno Coulais. Coulais is a french writer; however, all the music in “Coraline” is gibberish.

Coraline gets an overall 10/10. The film is for everyone who likes conspiracy theories, eerie tones and Tim Burton movies.
