Braylon Myers is a senior at Struthers High School. He is a multi-sport athlete: running track and playing football.
The student has just committed to The College of Wooster for football. He has been playing since he was 7.
This senior athlete is very dedicated; he works not only on his sports outside of school but also has a job and spends lots of time there. It’s hard managing your time, but he shows others it is possible.
“I manage my time between school, having free time and football by not just thinking about it too much; the more you think about it the more pressure is put on yourself,” says Myers.
The Struthers football team has experienced so much together, but one thing that absolutely completes the experience was them going to the semi-finals.
He is grateful that he got the opportunity to be a part of this. Myers had an impact on the team and was very excited to experience this opportunity.
“My biggest accomplishment in this sport was making it to the regional semi-finals in my sophomore year and also contributing to the team,” says the senior.
High school is where you find long life friends that are like family to you. Myers has found those people and is deeply grateful for them.
He will miss the relationships he has created with the team throughout school.
“One thing that I will miss from my high school experience is the brotherhood and being united as one. And also having the same goal in mind to go out and dominate/win,” says the student.
