HOGUE PLANS FUTURE

Allie Hogue is an upcoming junior at Struthers High School that balances cheerleading and a job with her academics.

Football season is her favorite part of the year, and her sophomore year has been her favorite so far.

Sometimes being so busy in her time can be stressful, but she manages as well as she can by getting everything done as soon as possible.

Hogue says, “I just really enjoy doing it,  and the team definitely makes it a lot more fun. I get as much as I can during school and do the rest in my study hall or on my break at work.”

High school has definitely taught her a lot of important things, like not to trust everybody and keep your business as your business.

She’s getting ready to have the best upcoming year transferring from a sophomore to junior.

Hogue says, “It is exciting to know I’m almost done, but also kinda scary to know I’m almost done with high school.”

This year really flew by for her, so she is thinking of her future.

In the future, she plans on going to college and having a good job.

Hogue says, “I want to major in criminal justice after high school, and I want to go to YSU.”

Her best advice is to never take anything for granted and to appreciate your teenage years.
