Trayon Kelley is a sophomore student at Struthers High School. Kelley is proud to be a part of the Struthers Wildcats bowling and tennis team.
Kelley is involved in numerous clubs and sports, such as the Spanish club, tennis, and bowling. His bowling team has won many matches and has even made it to state. The student athlete believes that he impacts his team in many ways.
Trayon sees how much he has enhanced his skills since his freshman year.
“I have improved a lot based on how I played freshman year,” says Kelley.
As an athlete, Kelley believes that there is room for improvement. Even though he feels very confident about how he has played, he still wants to better himself for the upcoming season. The student athlete tries his hardest and no matter how many mistakes he makes, he picks himself back up.
To improve his skills, he practices whenever he has downtime, which impacts him in a lot of different ways.
“I go to the alley whenever I have free time and practice by myself or with someone,” says Kelley.
The tennis player and bowler believes he has many strong aspects when it comes to participating in these sports. He also enjoys the support of his teammates and coaches along the way.
The student athlete believes that you need some important factors when it comes to wanting to partake in these activities.
“For tennis you need focus and have patience, because if you rush you will hit the ball out. You also need this for bowling as well, so you don’t end up getting a gutter ball,” says Kelley.
