Anthony Carter is a senior at Struthers High School. He was captain of the 2023-2024 varsity football team back in the fall. Carter had a successful last football season and wants to continue his career in college.
Carter plans to play in college for a Division 1 or Division 2 school.
“I believe I can strive in college just as much as I did in high school,” says the athlete.
The football player believes he can strive in college as well as he did in high school. Football will always be his favorite sport, so he will always do his best to be the best.
The senior loves football and will always have passion for the sport.
“Football is everything because it’s just such a great sport and a great thing to do. When I’m on the field, I focus on the game and nothing else around me. Football is calming to me because it’s my favorite thing to do,” says Carter.
Carter is very proud of himself this football season. Besides making all state second team, he also made All NE8 and All league all county.
The player is very proud of himself with all of the awards he has accomplished.
“I am very proud of myself for receiving these awards because I feel like I really deserved them. I played my heart out this season and I had a lot of faith in myself,” says the senior.
