Jondel Estrada is a junior at Struthers High School. He is a part of the boys basketball team and has been playing for 6 years.
The boys’ basketball team has an exciting year ahead. The team has many goals to accomplish and lots of new faces.
Estrada has a goal for the team after being a part of it his freshman year.
“Something big I’m looking forward to is winning the NE8 with my team,” says the center.
Athletes take lots of time during the off season to prepare for the upcoming season. A lot of work goes into it for the hard work to show.
Eastrada has been preparing for the season for a while.
“I prepare for the season by working hard every day in the summer before the season,” says the player.
In a sport, everyone has areas they are confident in and ones that are more difficult. All players work hard to excel.
Estrada has an area he’s very confident in.
“Something I’m strong at is layups,” says the athlete.
