“It” is a movie that took the horror franchise by storm. Something about a clown really gets people’s attention.

The movie “It” came out on September 8th, 2017. The film took about three months to make. The film is about 2 hours and 15 minutes long. The young actors got pretty big roles after being featured in this movie. This movie has been seen by most teens because it is a very popular franchise.

This movie starts out with a boy named Billy and his little brother Georgie building a boat together. The younger brother goes to play with the boat outside and is never seen again, and his brother Bill never stops looking for little Georgie. Billy and his friend group all start witnessing this clown figure, which they soon find out is Pennywise showing them their worst fears. They end up facing the clown multiple times and realize that he’s targeting their town every 27 years. This movie was really impressive with the plot and acting.

The plot of this movie is very detailed, and you find out a lot about each character. The acting is very impressive, especially with having a younger cast. This turned out just as amazing and is one of the biggest horror movies now. They went very in detail with the effects in this movie and that is another reason it is so good. But, some effects are a bit hard to look at since it is a scary movie. The movie is very well known for the effects and how they made the movie look; good effects always make a better horror movie. It is very impressive what they made out of this movie with such a young cast.

This movie is recommended for teens and young adults mostly. Overall, this movie got a 9/10 rating. It is an amazing horror movie, and the world hopes to see the story continue even further.

Madison is a sophomore at Struthers High School and is 15 years old. This is Madison’s second year being in Journalism. Maddie’s favorite movie series is “The Conjuring” movies. Maddie enjoys language arts and math. Her favorite food is steak. She likes artists such as Tyler the Creator, Drake, Sza, Olivia Rodrigo, etc. Maddie is a volleyball player. She plays for club and for school. Right now, she sits varsity and plays junior varsity. Maddie also really enjoys being in a Spanish Club. Maddie is involved in the Student Prints, and she likes having Mrs. Mickler as a teacher and the writing comes easy to her.
