Isabella Sferra, sernior, serves as the Book Club Treasurer.

Struthers High School Book Club held its meeting on October 25 about the book they are reading.

In the previous meeting, Book Club members decided on what book they wanted to read. The book with the most popular votes was “They Both Die at the End” by Adam Silvera. They also picked the Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Communications Manager.

There are different kinds of views on the book “They Both Die at the End.”

“I have heard mixed reviews about it so I am a little scared, but I only heard good things from friends,” says senior Isabella Sferra.

In the meeting coming up on October 25, Book Club members are getting their books handed out and are making a schedule for upcoming meetings. In order to get a book to use during the meetings, there was a fee of $5 that was due October 12.

People try out Book Club for many reasons.

“I like to read and my friends asked me to join,” says sophomore Addie Cool.

Book Club is about reading books on your own time and then coming together and talking about the book.

Book Club can be described in different words.

“I would say that Book Club is dynamic because it’s flexible and exciting,” says sophomore Louis Algaier.

Book Club is a club where students can make new friends and read books that they normally wouldn’t. This club pushes students to go out of their comfort zone and make new goals.
