The Dallas Cowboys signed cornerback Derion Kendrick on March 27th.
This signing by the Cowboys is huge; Kendrick is coming from one of the best defenses in the league. He is a solid DB and would help the Dallas defense a lot.
Kendrick was drafted in 2022; he played for the Los Angeles Rams up till 2024. In 2025, he played for the Seattle Seahawks and the Rams again at the end of the season.
Kendrick is excited to be suited up again back in his home town where he first started playing football as a kid.
“I can’t explain it. I started out like this (with the Cowboys),” said Kendrick.
Kendrick has played with some elite wide-receivers like Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, now George Pickens (GP) and Ceedee Lamb.
Kendrick knows playing and guarding these types of guys will only get him better for the season.
“I know what I’ve got. I played with GP in college. Great guy. Loves to compete. I do, too. It’s going to be some great practices to get each other ready for Sunday,” said Kendrick.
Kendrick has currently played 47 games with 18 starts. He has over 100 total tackles with 84 of those being solo tackles.
Kendrick is a well-rounded defender who is not scared of anyone and wants to go out on the field to make plays.
“Smart, feisty, physical and ball‑aware corner,” Kendrick says about himself.
