The Baltimore Ravens defeated the New York Jets on Sunday, November 23rd at the M&T Bank Stadium with for the first time this year a .500 team.
With this win, the Ravens are on a 5-game winning streak and hope to keep it going through the rest of the season.
The Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers had 5 catches for 58 yards and also forced a pass interference from the defense. Quarterback Lamar Jackson 13-23 passes for 153 yards and ran 7 times for 11 yards.
Jackson didn’t practice all week coming off an ankle injury.
“I’m out here, so I feel like I should be able to do what I do,” he says.
The Ravens had some amazing offensive drives right before the half. Ravens running back Derrick Henry had 21 carries for 64 yards and 2 touchdowns with the 2 touchdowns in the second quarter.
Ronnie Stanley, left tackle, explained how this is the turning point from the slump to have a chance to compete for the Super Bowl.
“To win a Super Bowl, that’s the type of offense we need to have,” says Stanley.
With a big play by Jordan Stout, the punter kicked a 67-yarder and had an amazing bounce, so the ball didn’t roll in the end zone. This play was the turning point of the game and showed the Ravens are doing it “Right.”
Stout couldn’t believe the punt happened the way it did and that caused a lot of energy for the rest of the game.
“It was all luck, I must be living life right,” says Stout.
