Coachella is a music festival that happens for two weekends every year. This year the festival was held on April 10-12 and April 17-19 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. They bring in new famous music artists every year. It usually costs around $600-800 for a regular ticket, usually celebrities and influencers go and get VIP tickets which cost around $1200.
People will usually stay in tents on the site, so they can save some money; others will get houses or Airbnb’s. Coachella is very expensive; people with the money will spend thousands of dollars. This year they brought in Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, Karol G, Anyma as the main celebrities and Katseye, Bini, Noga Erez, Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize. Around 750,000 people attend Coachella every year.
A minus about Coachella is it’s all outdoors. So, the weather has to be perfect for it to be enjoyable. If it’s too hot or too cold, people aren’t going to enjoy it, especially if it’s raining, and it has to be shut down because that’s all the money spent. This year, it did start storming, and they had to shut down Coachella. If someone had gotten a tent instead of a house, they would get rained out and all their belongings as well.
Overall, Coachella would be a really enjoyable experience and should get 4.5/5 stars because the weather could ruin it, and it is very expensive. Other than that, it would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. They bring out some really big celebrities and a lot of influencers go, so it’d be great to meet all these big people.
