The TV show “Victorious” was released on March 27, 2010. The show was designed mostly for children and teenagers. A young girl, aspired to be a star, filled in for her older sister Trina’s talent show at a prestigious school. The show was filmed in various locations in Los Angeles, while the setting of the show was in Hollywood.
“Victorious” was created and released in 2010. It starts with a 16 year old girl, Tori Vega, filling in for her sister at the talent show. Her sister goes to a performing arts high school for talented kids. If you don’t have a good enough talent, you can’t be there. Luckily for Tori, her older sister, Trina, had an allergic reaction to something not too long before their performance. Tori didn’t want to perform because she was nervous but got pushed onto stage and had to. She got more comfortable after she started singing, and everyone loved her and her voice. She immediately got offered a spot in the school, and she accepted. The first day didn’t go too well, but a few days later she found her little group. The group consists of Jade, Beck, Cat, Robbie, Andre and Tori. They all became close fast, other than Jade who was rude to everyone. Everyone was scared of her, but Tori never backed down to her. The show continues on giving the group challenges and obstacles, but they always get through them.
The final episode was dated to February 2, 2013 due to expenses, but where are the actors now? Victoria Justice, the actress who played Tori, has continued acting, singing and has started social media. Daniella Monet, also known as Trina, has also continued acting, hosting shows and investing in restaurants. She is also married with 2 children, one boy and one girl. Liz Gillies, who played Jade, has continued her acting and singing career. Leon Thomas, Andre, became a Grammy winning songwriter, singing and producer. Avan Jogian (Beck) has also continued acting and founded a public service organization. Ariana Grande, who played Cat, has focused on her music career, but still continued acting as well. She just acted in the “Wicked” movies. Lastly, Matt Bennett who played Robbie, has continued his acting, started directing and makes public appearances. All the actors seemed to have moved on with their lives for the better and still continue to do what they love, with the people they love.
An enjoyable part in the show is the comedic factor and the music. The show is kind of like a musical, but instead of a movie it’s a show. It keeps the audience entertained while they watch. There’s always something happening, so it’s also not boring. It creates a good atmosphere for both children and teenagers.
Another enjoyable factor is the creativeness of the show. It’s not something that you’d see in real life, but it’s something that entertains people. There are all kinds of fun but unrealistic classes and characters, but it makes the show interesting. It doesn’t keep the audience bored because every episode is different. It’s full of surprises; you never know what could happen next or even in the next episode.
Overall, the show itself deserves a 5-star rating. It has entertainment, comedy and creates interest, which are all good qualities in TV shows and movies. The work put into the show for years is incredible. The acting, singing, dancing, performances, settings and so much more. There was a lot of effort put into the show.
