“Thunderbolts” follows a government assembled team of antiheroes and former villains.
The team of heroes include Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), U.S. Agent Ghost (Wyatt Russell), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) and Red Guardian (David Harbour) on a suicidal black-opps mission. During the mission, the team uncovers a conspiracy involving a powerful unstable entity known as Bob (Sentry) played by (Lewis Pullman). The thunderbolts try their hardest to fight Sentry, but he is too strong for them, so they had to come up with a plan. Sentry took a substance that made him more powerful, turning him into (Void). They take on this dangerous mission that forces them to confront the darkest corners of their past. The team battles in New York, with the plot exploring themes of trauma and the buried lines between hero and villain.
The song choice the directors used in the big battle scene in the end of the movie was an amazing enhancer for the plot and storyline. The song they used was “Thunder Struck” by AC/DC. The directors used this song because of the team’s name being thunderbolts in the movie they say “ Thunderbolts” and charge at the sentry which queued the music. This was a great addition to the fight scene. They also did a great job giving credits to AC/DC.
The directors did a good job making the heroes and villains in this movie look exactly like the comic. The detail they gave everyone popped. Sentry/Void had the most detail because they showed how he kept drastically changing during the movie like in the comic. The other heroes as well had very great detail like the ninth e comic. This was a really great addition to the movie.
This movie deserves a 10/10 for the amazing effort put into this movie and making every hero and antivill look so realistic to the comics.
