“Iron Lung” is a new 2026 movie where the main character is played by Markiplier who is also known for streaming his video games.
Simon (Markiplier) is a convict being used to conduct an experiment on the depths of the ocean. In the beginning of the movie, he is locked into a submarine where he is forced to go to explore the unexplored ocean. While in the ocean, which is filled full of blood, he finds a skeleton of a giant during his first expedition down. After discovering the giant’s skeleton in the first expedition, he was forced to go back down, even though his contract was that he would be freed after going down only once.
The whole movie is pretty horrible; the story just isn’t good at all. There was almost no character development, as there were only about eight key actors. The movie pretty much just jumps into the action without any development. Most of the movie is the same exact setting, which is in the small submarine. The movie could have done better if there were more characters being played.
The whole movie feels half-fasted and doesn’t even feel like a movie. The movie feels like it belongs on YouTube rather than an actual movie. The movie is also pretty drawn out with a watch time of two hours. “Iron Lung” was on a pretty low budget and that reflects on the quality of the movie’s special effects. It only had a budget of 3 million dollars while many successful movies have a budget of 65 million.
Overall, the movie was extremely bad; the movie gets a 2/10 due to the horrible character development.
