SENIORS REFLECT ON HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCES

High school seniors answered various questions about their last year of high school and their experiences. They expressed the high and lows of senior year, things they accomplished, fond memories they have made and regrets they may have were taken into consideration.

As they enter the last quarter of high school, they reflect on the fondest memories they have made. The students agreed that the best moments they have shared are with their sports teams and making the last memories they have with their friends and fellow high school students.

Seniors share their fondest memories of high school.

“Tennis season was my best memory because it always made me happy, and I got to share my last moments with the team I love the most,” says  Kylie Schiedel.

“The beginning of the year was my favorite memory because I had football season to look forward to,” says Addison Liptak.

“Being with my friends and attending school activities was my best memory,” says Samantha Minno.

The most difficult part of high school for these seniors were CCP classes and preparing for college as they leave high school. Getting adjusted to new classes was a struggle, but they knew their hard work would pay off. Transferring their credits is a stressful experience that they face. Ensuring that all their accomplishments throughout high school are accounted for.

The students faced challenges throughout high school.

“CCP classes were the most difficult part of high school,” says Schiedel.

“My first semester of CCP classes and knowing it’s my last year was my biggest struggle,” says Liptak.

“My biggest challenge of high school is having to finish everything in high school and knowing I have to transfer all of my accomplishments to college,” says Minno.

The seniors believe they have set themselves up for all that they have wanted to accomplish within high school. By the end of senior year, they hope to achieve their honors diploma and even valedictorian status. They want to finish high school off with a strong preparation by earning scholarships and maintaining straight A’s.

The students set themselves up for success.

“My goal is to finish my last year with all A’s,” says Scheidel.

“I hope to graduate high school as valedictorian,” says Liptak.

“My goal is to maintain motivation, graduate with honors diploma and get scholarships,” says Minno.

The students agree that the most difficult part of graduation is leaving their friends behind. The people that they have the most memories with are the ones that they have to move on without. New experiences can be slightly intimidating for them, but they are excited for a new chapter to begin in their lives. The most exciting part of graduating for these seniors is seeing their whole class together for the last time and being surrounded by other classmates celebrating their accomplishments with them.

The seniors celebrate the ups and downs of graduation.

“The hardest part of graduation is leaving everyone behind, but I am excited to start a new chapter in my life,” says Scheidel.

“I am sad to have to leave all my friends behind as I go to college and go into the real world, but I am excited to celebrate with my graduating class together, one last time,” says Liptak.

“The most difficult part of graduating is knowing that everything is going to change, but I am excited to begin the rest of my life and pursue my career,” says Minno.
