Adrian Nunez is a freshman baseball player at Struthers High School.
So far this season, Struthers has a positive influence on him. It is his first time being in a high school’s sports team, and he is thrilled. There have been many new people and learning opportunities, and the season has just begun.
Nunez is thankful for being in Struthers baseball.
“Struthers has shown me how to be a part of a team, not just in baseball, but in anything,” said Nunez.
Nunez got into the sport at a young age due to his mom. Since then, he has made many good friends and memories. But out of all of them, he has had a specific favorite.
The young athlete has many memories from baseball.
“My favorite memory from playing baseball is going to state when I was 12,” said Nunez.
Because of playing baseball at such a young age, Nunez has had a numerous amount of teammates. But as he got older, they began to push him to a higher level. Now that he is in high school, all of his teammates push him to the best he can be.
Nunez’s teammates drive him in hopes for group success.
“My teammates help me correct things then I do them wrong and help motivate me during games,” said Nunez.
In the future, Nunez has goals to letter and play all four years. He hopes to continue to play with his friends until the very last game.
