SENIOR FOCUS

Carl Harmon

What would be the best way to spend your summer vacation before college?

Travelling if I wasn’t a victim to late stage capitalism

With all the knowledge you have right now, without a college degree, what class would you be most qualified to teach and why?

Any math class

Which was your favorite lunch table in high school?

Junior year lunch table with Ahmarion, Devin, Cooper and Angelo

What are you going to miss most about high school?

Absolutely nothing at all

What do you plan on doing after you graduate from high school this year?

To pursue a degree in fashion design at Kent State

Who do you look up to the most? Why?

The person I’d say I look to the most would have to be the Big Garc. Day in and day out, he shows up and puts the grind, Mr. Garc may be the most inspirational man in this school. Not only is he the most dedicated, I’d say he is the smartest as well, as he is qualified to teach all math classes in high school numerous YSU classes and even physics if he wanted. So that’s why The Big Garcar is the G.O.A.T.

If I could have done it differently, I would have…

I wouldn’t have quit baseball.

Are there any underclassmen you look out for?

My dawgs: Paul, King and especially Nugget

What would be the best way to spend your summer vacation before college?

Going to Puerto Rico for a week or two and just enjoying myself in the waters

With all the knowledge you have right now, without a college degree, what class would you be most qualified to teach and why?

Financial Literacy: I know most of what you’d need to teach most of it is how to use your money in the proper manner you learn about taxes and the understanding that includes how to earn, manage and invest money.

Which was your favorite lunch table in high school?

Sitting with CJ, Devin, Hobart during my junior year

What are you going to miss most about high school?

The laughter

What do you plan on doing after you graduate from high school this year?

Go do concrete for a year, make money then go to college in the spring of 2027

Who do you look up to the most? Why?

My Dad: he motivates me to accomplish and achieve the most out of what I’m given.

If I could have done it differently, I would have…

Went to school

What would be the best way to spend your summer vacation before college?

Although I’m going to the Military and not college, I will most definitely be spending my time relaxing and having fun as my last real summer.

With all the knowledge you have right now, without a college degree, what class would you be most qualified to teach and why?

Most definitely an American History class; of my entire high school career, I have done pretty good in history classes, and I have a pretty good understanding of history, especially American history.

Which was your favorite lunch table in high school?

My freshman year lunch table: I loved being with my friends and doing stupid stuff every day.

What are you going to miss most about high school?

I will definitely miss going and seeing my friends every day and talking to some of the teachers.

What do you plan on doing after you graduate from high school this year?

My plan is to go to Navy bootcamp; then after that is over, I will hopefully be headed to the NUC school for two years to become a nuclear engineer.

Who do you look up to the most? Why?

I definitely look up to Mr. Dailey a lot. I hope and try to have the same uplifting attitude he has. He has been such an amazing teacher over my time in high school and always brought energy to his classes that really helped me enjoy his classes.

If I could have done it differently, I would have…

I would have definitely made sure to try in every one of my classes and get better grades because I always just did just enough, so I didn’t fail the class, but I never really had good grades.
