“Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” was released on June 4, 2004. The running time is 2 hours and 22 minutes.
“Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” was the third movie released that is based on the book series written by J.K Rolling. It takes place at Hogwarts following Harry Potter’s (Daniel Radcliffe) third year. It begins with Harry learning that murder named Sirus Black (Gary Oldman) has escaped prison and is on the hunt for him. It shows Harry learning the truth about his family and developing his relationship with a new professor named Professor Lupin and figuring out his secret.
The special effects in this movie are phenomenal. They use it to make a darker tone within the movie. They created different creatures like demonters, werewolves and buckbeak. These creations really helped bring the book to life and make the audience feel different emotions.
The acting throughout the movie is amazing. The actors who play Harry, Hermoine (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) have grown up filming these movies. They have done a fantastic job maturing their characters into teenagers and making them more mature. They were able to make the movie have a darker vibe. Without their acting, the movie would feel very childish since their characters are getting older throughout the movie.
Overall, this movie is recommended to anyone who enjoys family/fantasy movies.
