SENIOR FOCUS

Isabella Sahli

If you were granted three wishes, what would they be?

Unlimited money, World peace and that the US men’s soccer team wins a World Cup

What year has been your favorite year so far?

Definitely senior year. I love getting to interact with so many people, be a leader on my sports teams, prepare for college and do all of the other fun things with my seniors

Where do you see yourself the day after graduation?

Hopefully hanging out with friends, seeing my family and planning something exciting for this summer

Was high school all you expected it to be?

I think it was a lot more fun than I expected it to be, especially senior year. Yes, there were stressful moments, but overall I loved meeting new people who I hope to call friends forever and getting the chance to become involved in things and find what I’m passionate about.

What would be the best way to spend your summer vacation before college?

Hopefully on a beach, surrounded by either my friends or family for at least a week, finally relaxing after I made it through everything. I also would like to work out a lot, getting myself mentally and physically ready to start college in the next few months.

Who is your favorite underclassmen? Why?

Alivyah Kuehm. She is my boyfriend’s sister, the kindest person ever and so fun to have conversations with. I love her energy and her sweet personality. She also does the cutest nails and did mine for Homecoming, and hopefully she will do them for Prom too! I care about her so much and will always wish her the best in life.

If you could be world known for one accomplishment made in your lifetime, what would it be and why?

I am hoping to become a sports agent one day, so I hope that I would be known for being a part of a big case that changes the world of sports for the better somehow. I would want to be remembered this way because I would want to be known for something that benefits others but is also related to my passions.

What’s the most important lesson you have learned in life?

The most important thing I have learned in life so far is that the right people will always come to you eventually, and that if someone is really meant to be a part of your life, they will end up staying. Not everyone who you meet is meant to be in your life forever, and sometimes those you surround yourself with aren’t actually your people. With enough patience and being yourself, you will have the right ones in your life to stay.

If you were granted three wishes, what would they be?

My three wishes would be infinite money, infinite wishes, and world peace.

What year has been your favorite year so far?

My favorite was definitely junior year. I had a lot of freedom and enjoyed the advantages of being an upperclassmen.

Where do you see yourself the day after graduation?

I hope to be celebrating with friends and family and starting the next chapter of my life.

Was high school all you expected it to be?

It was and it wasn’t. I had a varying set of expectations. I knew that the coursework would be hard, but I did not fully prepare myself for the amount of assignments that took hours of hard work. I also expected to have a lot of freedom and have the most fun of my entire life, and that was definitely not true. I am ready to end this chapter.

What would be the best way to spend your summer vacation before college?

The best way to spend my summer would be to go on a vacation with my friends, spend time with my family and shopping.

Who is your favorite underclassmen? Why?

Genevieve Purcell. She has the kindest, most genuine heart. I loved standing next to her on the sidelines during football games laughing and cracking jokes. She made my senior year so bright and helped to fill it with everlasting memories.

If you could be world known for one accomplishment made in your lifetime, what would it be and why?

I would like to be known for helping and bringing joy to those who are less fortunate, especially children because they are going through the most fundamental years of their lives, and I would like to help ease it for them as much as I can.

What’s the most important lesson you have learned in life?

Be your own advocate. Do not let others whether they be peers or adults, dictate the choices that you make. It can be difficult to stand up for yourself, while still pleasing others. Stand up for yourself because no one else will do it for you.

If you were granted three wishes, what would they be?

World peace  (humans and animals)

To be wealthy

For me and my cat (Charlotte) to be with each other in every lifetime

What year has been your favorite year so far?

Either the end of junior year or senior year

Where do you see yourself the day after graduation?

Celebrating high school finally being over and the start of a new chapter in life

Was high school all you expected it to be?

Not at all, high school can allow you to realize not only the amount of harder schoolwork you have to conquer, but that people won’t always stay in your life, and most of the time that’s best.

What would be the best way to spend your summer vacation before college?

Going on vacation with my friends, hanging out with family, working so I can get save as much money as possible and having fun relaxing days for myself, spending the summer as a kid one last time before having to step foot into the real world

Who is your favorite underclassmen? Why?

Gianna Martin will forever hold a special place in my heart for being my book partner during volleyball season; we have our own inside jokes we would always bring up, and I will always cherish them.

If you could be world known for one accomplishment made in your lifetime, what would it be and why?

Saving as many people’s lives as I possibly could; I always care for others and wouldn’t want them to be anything other than the best, healthy version of themselves.

What’s the most important lesson you have learned in life?

Always worry/focus on yourself and never compare yourself to others because every individual handles life at a different pace.

If you were granted three wishes, what would they be?

The environment to be restored

Every person and animal has a safe home with food and water

To have a Barbie type closet with all the clothes I ever wanted

What year has been your favorite year so far?

My senior year

Where do you see yourself the day after graduation?

I see myself celebrating with my friends and family.

Was high school all you expected it to be?

It wasn’t all I expected to be, I honestly thought it would be just like the Disney Channel shows, but it was really just school that was fun and stressful at times.

What would be the best way to spend your summer vacation before college?

The best way to spend my summer would be to enjoy my last summer as a kid, spend time with my friends before we go our separate ways, shopping, listening to music with the windows down and ending it with sleepovers.

Who is your favorite underclassmen? Why?

My favorite underclassman is my sister; she’s one of my best friends no matter how much we fight or disagree. She still sticks by my side no matter what.

If you could be world known for one accomplishment made in your lifetime, what would it be and why?

I would like to be known for decreasing the amount of pollution in the air and ocean. I feel that the ocean is an extremely important source of food, and is a habitat for many creatures beneficial for the world. I think that if pollution was decreased, the atmosphere and environment would thrive a little more.

What’s the most important lesson you have learned in life?

Some people aren’t meant to be in your life forever, and at the time, it will suck, but you’ll learn that they were there to teach you something that you’ll use in the future. Every experience you’ve been through and will continue to go through ultimately shaped you into the person you are today.
