Sophie does this in the hope of meeting her real father, so he can escort her down the aisle. The whole situation turns into a mess when Sam, Harry and Bill all believe her to be their daughter. In the end, everything works out even though it did not go according to the original plan.

A major aspect of “Mamma Mia” is the singing and songs. They add to the fun and entertaining environment of the movie. The most popular songs include “Honey, Honey,” “Dancing Queen,” “The Winner Takes It All,” “Our Last Summer,” “Money, Money, Money” and “Super Trouper.” All of these songs are throughout the course of the movie, and they are what grip the attention of the audience. In addition, they add to the storyline and show the emotions of the cast, as they experience different and new things. Along with the singing, they are also dancing to create a memorable experience. All in all, the music in “Mamma Mia” makes the watch worth it.

Another important part of “Mamma Mia” is the setting. The setting of a Greek island, Kalokairi, adds to the romantic and adventurous atmosphere. Sophie’s mom has lived on this island forever, and she is left with all of the chores and keeps up with the island.  It also adds to the magical atmosphere of the musical as it enhances the movie’s main themes. The family-oriented nature and the beauty of the island make the setting so important to the plot of the musical. Overall, the film’s setting allows the whole plot to come together.
