- Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years, I would see myself living a very luxurious lifestyle, a stable job, a wealthy husband, maybe one kid and two fluffy dogs. Before I have children I’d want to explore the world and go to so many different places like Italy, Bahamas, Australia, and so many more.
- Do you think graduating is exciting or scary? Why?
I am more excited than scared to graduate. I have had so many good and bad times throughout my 4 years here, but I am ready to meet new people and have new experiences that Struthers just cannot fulfill for me anymore.
- Out of all the years at Struthers High School, what is your most memorable memory?
My favorite memory about high school has to be the dances. From picking out a homecoming dress, to getting ready and taking pictures with all of my friends, it is so much fun. Even the after parties are so enjoyable considering how much I love socializing with people. The dances will for sure be the thing I miss most about high school.
- If you could be guaranteed one thing in life besides money, what would you ask for and why?
Adventure because I cannot explain how bad I want to see the whole world. Struthers is a nice small town which I am very grateful to have grown up here, but there is so much more to the world than just this one city.
- If I could do it all over again, I would have…..
I would have studied more. My sophomore year was by far my favorite year based on how much I would go out and hangout with everybody you can think of. I just wish I spent a bit more time on my schoolwork. I still have so much fun which I would never want to change, but I could’ve spent a bit more time with my homework and assignments.
- Best advice you would give to an underclassmen?
Surround yourself with good people. Don’t hang around negative people who always pull you down and stay with the kind and generous students who best fit you and your personality. You don’t want to look back at high school and get upset because you surrounded yourself around people who aren’t worth your time. You can find your people by getting involved with the school. Joining clubs, sports, or even out of school activities is the most common way to meet new people.
- What is your life motto?
“Treat people how you want to be treated” This is my motto because no matter how dirty a person does me, I will still be nice to them. This trait of mine is bittersweet because sometimes they don’t deserve to be treated nicely, but at the end of the day being the bigger person is more important than proving a small point.
- What is something that most people don’t know about you?
Most people don’t know that I have a severe addiction to refreshers. Almost every single day after school throughout the whole year, I drive to Dunkin or Starbucks to get a refresher. This has cost me so much money but I have no self restraint and can’t help but drink that strawberry goodness.

In 10 years, I see myself with a good job (hopefully), living in a nice house with my (hopeful) husband. I can see myself traveling to new places, and maybe even have a kid by then.
- Do you think graduating is exciting or scary? Why?
I think it is exciting, but scary at the same time. While it is a major accomplishment, you’re entering the real world which is quite intimidating. Although I’m ready, I am a bit scared because I’m still unsure of what I want to do in the future.
- Out of all the years at Struthers High School, what is your most memorable memory?
My most memorable memory at Struthers High School would have to be either sophomore year football season as a whole, or homecoming this year. I wish I could go back to those moments.
- If you could be guaranteed one thing in life besides money, what would you ask for and why?
If I could be guaranteed one thing in life besides money, I would ask for eternal happiness because I could never live my life in sadness. If I was guaranteed to be happy all of the time, I would be content with my life forever.
- If I could do it all over again, I would have…..
I would have put myself out there a little bit more. I think I am a pretty social person, but I still keep to myself quite a lot. I wish I would have pushed myself to just get out there.
- Best advice you would give to an underclassmen?
I would tell the underclassmen to always put in their best effort, and get involved. High school is what you make it, so do as much as you can, and always try your hardest. Freshman and sophomore year still count, and you don’t want laziness to get in the way of your success as an upperclassman.
