WILSON STEALS THE SHOW IN “PITCH PERFECT”

Rebel Wilson plays a character named Fat Amy in the movie “Pitch Perfect” made in 2012. Most of “Pitch Perfect” was filmed on the Louisiana State University campus. The movie was made to bring laughter to homes all over the world.

With the movie’s runtime being around 112 minutes, it includes 24 different covers of songs that were made into acapella versions sung by the Barden Bellas or their opposition, the Treble Makers. Some of the most popular songs include “Cups,” by Anna Kendrick, which is her take on the original song, “When I’m Gone,” by A.P. Carter. Other songs include “Since U Been Gone,” “Party in the USA” and “Right Round.” All these songs being covered leads up to the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, where the two groups battle each other for the championship title.

The acting is especially notable in this movie. While the movie is a comedy, the actors bring it to life. Some notable actors include Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow and Skylar Astin. All of them executed exceptional performances. Their vocals all create a beautiful blend. All of the actors also share incredible chemistry. This makes the movie seem like a reality TV show.

Overall, Wilson stole the show with her incredible humor and vocals. The movie wouldn’t be what it is without her role as Fat Amy. Every scene, she is almost guaranteed to fill a room with laughter. She is loved by fans all over and is definitely the most notable character throughout the film. Wilson is what makes the film so entertaining.

From the music, the vocals, the choreography, the plot, to the casting, this movie deserves a 10/10 overall. “Pitch Perfect” might be one of the greatest comedic movies of all time.
