“Stranger Things” is a TV show that is based on teenagers that go through hardships and supernatural things. The genres of the TV show are horror, romance and sci-fi.
The show follows a group of friends that goes through supernatural mysteries in their world. It’s all based on a game called DND (Dungeons And Dragons). One of the show’s main characters named Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) goes missing in the first season and doesn’t get found until season two. Will was taken by a creature from another dimension called the “up side down.” While he was there, he stayed alive by singing his favorite song, “Should I stay or should I go,” by the Clash. Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) does so much to save Will and she was able to communicate with him through Christmas lights. However, that’s not enough. One of the other main characters, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), is a child who an evil man studied and gave her powers. Eleven was found by the group of friends in the woods while they were searching for Will. Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo) and Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin) were Will’s friends. These friends found Eleven and took her to Will’s house. In the middle of season two, they find Will, but somehow he is connected to the upside down. In season three, the new monster appeared called the “Mind Flayer,” and Will could feel it when it was nearby. In season four, they discover a new monster Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower), and he was the last monster of season four.
The special effects are very cool, and they play out nicely. The producers used makeup and special effects to make everything look realistic. While the monsters were played by people, the makeup was so good; the audience couldn’t tell. They made Eleven and Vecna’s powers look so real. This brought the show together.
They took advantage of using music in this TV show. In every episode of the show, they played music. In season four, they based the season off survival music. They played music by artists to keep the audience entertained throughout the television series. They played a song called “Running Up That Hill” by Kate Bush. This is the main focus of the season.
The show deserves a 9/10. This was because the show was really good and the directors did an amazing job with everything. However, they could have made the seasons a little longer.
