Marissa Metzka is 16 years old and is in 10th grade. She is in Journalism II.
Marissa is not the biggest fan of school, but if she had to pick a favorite subject it would be Journalism. Her favorite teacher is her 9th grade math teacher Mr. Nerone. Marissa's favorite TV series is "All American," and her favorite movie is "Starstruck." Marissa loves to listen to music and can't pick a favorite artist.
Marissa loves playing volleyball for the school but loves playing club volleyball even more. She plays at Club Infinity, and she loves meeting new people. Marissa is in the Future Teacher Club, Interact Club, Spanish Club, and Art Club. She loves coming to school and being with her friends.
This year Marissa hopes to complete her volleyball season getting better as a team and hopefully come out with a few tournament wins. She wants to end the year with all As and a 4.0 GPA. She is excited for her club season and to see what the year holds for her.
