Carmella is a sophomore at Struthers High School and is 16 years old. She is a Feature writer for Journalism I.

Carmella is working very hard in school trying to maintain straight A’s all year. Her favorite subjects are math, journalism, and Spanish II. She loves attending her Spanish club meetings and plans to volunteer in Interact Club. Her favorite part about school is being able to try new things in different classes. She loves going to the football games and spending time with her friends and family. She also is a member of the soccer team and track team.

In her free time, Carmella enjoys watching T.V. shows, movies, listening to music, cooking, and doing hair and makeup. She has always loved watching comedies like “Friends,” “The Office,” and “Impractical Jokers.” Her favorite movies are “21 Jump Street” and “Superbad.” She is always listening to music and loves Drake, Lana Del Rey, Lil Wayne, and Frank Ocean. She also likes old music from the 80’s and 90’s.

Carmella has high expectations for her sophomore year. She wants to get A’s in all of her classes and continue to stay involved in activities for her school. This is her first time taking journalism, and she loves it and wants to be successful in the class. She hopes to become a LINK Leader and get a good score on her ACT next year.
