Amira West is a sophomore at Struthers High School and is 15 years old. She is a Feature Writer in Journalism II.

Amira’s favorite part of school is hanging out with her friends and playing sports. She is in Interact club, Future Teachers Club, Medical Careers Club, Spanish Club and is a member of Student Council. She enjoys reading, writing, and listening to music in her free time. She plays volleyball during the fall and runs track in the spring.

Amira’s favorite part of Journalism is writing articles and interviewing people. She hopes to keep steady and high grades, and to continue to improve in sports.
