Disney presents one of the most memorable childhood favorites.
The 6-season American sitcom called “Bunk’d” came out in 2015. The most known cast members include Lou (Miranda May), Xander (Kevin Quinn), Emma Ross (Peyton List), Zuri Ross (Skai Jackson), Ravi Ross (Karan Brar) and Jorge (Nathan Arenas). They work together to take their challenges head first, as they are settling into their exciting and challenging new lives at summer camp.
A major aspect of “Bunk’d” are the actors and their relationships with each other. The actors create an interesting and entertaining environment. All of the actors have different personalities, which makes them connect with each other in different ways throughout the show. For example, the Ross siblings include Emma, Zuri and Ravi and they face the challenges of camp life together, as they are adapting to being away from their parents. Then, Emma and Xander have a romantic relationship, as Xander helps Emma navigate her summer, and counselor training. Next, Lou, and Zander are long time friends, so they add to the dynamic of the camp community. Lastly, Jorge is good friends with Ravi because they are both members of the same cabin. However, Jorge would constantly put Ravi in dangerous situations, they still remained friends. All in all, the relationships in “Bunk’d” show the realities of teenage life and how relationships can change when they are put through difficult situations.
Another important part of “Bunk’d” is the setting and the adventures they face in their new environment. The main cabins in the show are the Woodchuck, Grizzly and Weasel cabin. These cabins are a main part of the show, as they provide competition to see which cabin is better, and they house the campers and counselors. The dining hall in the camp is called the Mess Hall, and it is where the campers go to eat their meals. It seems to be the main gathering place for the campers. Also, Lake Kikiwaka is a major spot for the campers because it is where they go canoeing and fishing in the show. Lastly, the campfire is where the campers go every night to sing, tell stories and gather together as a group. The settings are where the activities take place and what makes the show what it is. Overall, in the show “Bunk’d” the settings add to the summer environment of Camp Kikiwaka.
Moreover, “Bunk’d” would be rated a 5/5 because it is a classic childhood summer show, and it is very entertaining. It would also be recommended for people who enjoy Disney sitcom shows.
