Travel is important; why stay still when you can see beautiful sights. There’s a plethora of places to go, anywhere from Siesta Key to the Rockies.
If there’re so many places to be and to see, why do so many seem so stagnant? Staying still not moving at all–that’s how so many live their lives.
Travel doesn’t necessarily need to be far nor grand, it’s just good to move around a bit. A Harvard Business Review study of over 400 travellers found that “94% of respondents had as much or more energy after coming back from a good trip.” Travel doesn’t need to be expensive, in and of itself, plane tickets aren’t too expensive. The primary expense associated with travel is the actual vacation. Depending on where someone goes, they don’t need to overindulge in the expensive luxuries associated with vacation. Sure, places like Florida surely have $100’s in expenses, going to the beach isn’t going to be cheap. However, hiking the Rockies might be just as appealing, and nowhere near as expensive. Travel’s great for everyone, the destination isn’t important, the journey is.
Travel, however, may not be for everyone, plenty of homebodies are around, and that’s fine! Nevertheless, if what someone seeks is an out, a break from their mundane 9-5, maybe travelling isn’t so bad. While expenses are definite, they’re not necessarily as much of an ordeal as they’re made out to be. It’s important to spread out and see the world; don’t be stagnant. The world is a beautiful place with plenty for everyone.
In a nutshell, break out of it! To stay in a shell, in a small little suburb town, it’s important to see the world. Repetition and uncertainty aren’t what make the world go ‘round, willingness to move around and live out life is!
Travel sure may not be for everyone; not everyone wants to break out of their shell, but don’t be afraid to.
