Pearlie Edmonds is a sophomore at Struthers High School. She takes her academics very seriously and does everything she can to maintain the grades that she has.
Her grades are decent right now but she is thriving to get them up. She wants to have a successful career after high school.
She wants a well paying job and a good life. Sometimes school gets tough and sometimes has her mood down.
Edmonds says, “It can be stressful at times when I procrastinate so I try not to do that as much. When I get an assignment I just get it done as soon as possible so I wont be stressed out on the day it’s due.”
She never tries to have late work and tries her best to get assignments done on time.
She also wants to emphasize to others starting high school to not procrastinate on work and just do it. Putting work off makes it more stressful in the long run.
Some classes are more challenging than others can be, but she always pushes through.
Edmonds says, “The most challenging class for me is Chemistry. I handled this by just trying multiple different study methods, extra credit, and just trying my best on the next test that’s yet to come.”
She is very passionate about maintaining grades. She always influences her friends to be as well.
Her favorite class is English. It can be stressful at times, but for her future career it will be worth it.
Edmonds says, “I would like to go to law school and then become a lawyer.”
Overall, she loves working hard, and she loves school in general. Even when it gets tough, she always pushes through with a smile on her face.
She loves baking in her free time. She bakes desserts, pastries and more all with her family.
