The Las Vegas Raiders’ Geno Smith is ready to ride and go to war for his team and especially coach Pete Caroll.
Geno Smith was traded from the Jets to the Seahawks where Coach Caroll was the head coach at the time; now they are back together.
With this connection between the two, this should be a very interesting season for these two as they are both familiar faces to each other and are key parts to the team.
Minority Owner Tom Brady also had a lot to do with this decision as he wanted to make sure this would be the best fit possible for this team.
“My mindset has not and will never change; it is the same thing every day,” says Smith.
This is an extra boost in confidence going into the year with the Raiders having someone they can rely on as a leader.
Also signing more key players to the team, there is more than enough talent to make this team very successful.
“He is going to bring us stability, trust and confidence, inspiring guys to go out there and play hard,” says Caroll.
Caroll has a lot of praise for his quarterback as they have plenty of experience together.
If the Raiders can get a great offensive draft pick to help out Smith, the team will be better than ever.
Although the team has had many droughts these last few years, things can change and turn around.
“I was just telling this man; I will run for the wall for him, and he knows that without a doubt,” says Smith.
With the right thinking, smart decisions and excellent leadership, this will be a successful team.
