Anthony Torreance is a sophomore at Struthers High School who plays hockey and gets decent grades. His favorite activities are playing sports and playing the game at home.
He has his family keeping him motivated. He goes to hockey frequently throughout the week. But he still manages to keep most of his grades decently while having school work.
He says,” I mostly say I was motivated by my father and my mother. Sometimes it gets hard with school work, but I love hockey so I would like to keep playing.”
Torreance likes hanging out with his friends outside of school and plays Fortnite when he gets home and has nothing to do.
He plans in the future to be in the NHL Since he plays on a travel hockey team, it makes him better every time he goes.
Torreance says, “When I get out of high school, my dream is to go to the NHL and pro.”
For him, sometimes school gets a lot, but he pushes through it. He listens to music and that helps him do his school work. Even when he has hockey he gets it done.
Something he doesn’t like about school is how fast the work can pile up if you miss an assignment.
He says, “Assignments aren’t that bad but when you have more than one class that you didn’t finish it gets stressful. But I usually manage to get it done before I have to go to hockey practice.”
He always manages to get his work done and stay on top of things. He likes things to go his way.
Overall, he loves hockey but also enjoys school and manages to get all of his things done at school, work and at home.
