The National championship of college football whoever wins brings home the ring. This game is a big deal because it shows who is the best team in college football.
Ohio State beat Notre Dame 34-23 in the National Championship on January 20th.
Will Howard threw 17-21 231 yards and 2 TDs.
Smith had 5 catches, 88 yards and 1 TD and the game-sealing catch.
“We were going to let out all of the bullets, and he really put the team on his back and delivered the hugs 3rd down conversion,” said OSU Head Coach Ryan Day.
Quinshon Judkins ran for 11 carries 100 yards and 3 TDs.
Ohio State ran the ball more than usual trying to switch up the game plan for Notre Dame.
“We ran the ball 16 times; we knew it was going to be that way,” said Day.
Cody Simmons had 4 tackles with 4 tackles assists.
Simmons thinks that his team came from the bottom and worked their way to the top.
“We were building bricks every single practice,” said Simmons.
Jaden Greathouse also contributed with 6 receptions, 128 yards and 2 TDs.
