This game is the most important because it shows who is going to that National Championship. It’s the Orange Bowl–one of the biggest games in college football. This game is for those who want it more to win or go home.
Penn State lost 27-24 in the Orange Bowl to Notre Dame on January 9.
Riley Leonard threw for 15-23 223 yards 1 TD and 2 Ints.
Drew Allard threw worse than Leonard with 12-23 135 yards and 1 Int.
“Penn state is a heck of a football team I had respect for them coming into the game and more coming after the game,” said Notre Dame Head Coach Marcus Freeman.
Jeremiyah Love ran for 11 rushes 45 yards and 1 TD.
The passing game was great for Notre Dame with wide receiver Jaden Greathouse with 7 receptions 105 yards and 1 TD.
“If I didn’t over throw that ball to J2 (Jeremiyah Love) which was an interception I would have regretted it,” said Leonard.
Penn State had a decent run game with Nick Singleton rushing for 15 carries 84 yards and 3 TDs.
Penn State needed to adjust a run game because the pass game was not working well for them.
“I really didn’t think much of the interception I just caught the ball and I was blessed I felt god over me,” said Cornerback Cristain Gray.
