Revolution Studios presents another comedy film.
One hour “White Chicks” movie that came out in 2004 dives into an experience with two FBI agents, Kevin (Shawn Waynes) and Marcus Copeland (Marlon Waynes), living in New York City. The movie starts off as two brothers working together to try and take down a gang of foreign criminals. The movie is full of action and comedy: the reactions of Marcus’s wife Gina and Kevin’s girlfriend Densie who have to deal with the suspense of not knowing where their partners are half of the time, adding onto the funny jokes and disses thrown at the men.
Something that can be gathered from watching this movie is to never give up on something important to you. These men had to dress up in disguise as two women in order to solve an important case without their boss finding out or their spouses. When the Copeland brothers were out in Beverly Hills, they had to deal with the many calls from their partners questioning them about cheating since they haven’t seen them, they had to face the multiple challenge of portraying two “valley girls.” However, the two manage to balance out pretending to be Tiffany and Brittany (the two valley girls) friends while they also try to work on the case. The Copeland brothers knew that if they didn’t figure out this case they were going to lose their jobs, they couldn’t have this happen so they kept pushing themselves to keep going in order to return back to their partners.
Another good aspect of “White Chicks” is the comedic element. The film is filled with humorous situations, witty dialogue, also physical comedy that keeps the audience entertained. The contrast of the characters’ true identities and their disguise leads to more funny and also unexpected moments. While the brothers had to deal with Tiffany and Brittany’s rivals and trying to keep up on the role of playing as the two valley girls, they are put in hilarious situations, having to go shopping with Tiffany and Brittany’s friends, going to the Hamptons Hotel as Macus who was disguised as Tiffany had to go to the restroom from eating something that contained dairy, since he was lactose intolerant, leading to the humorous scene. Also, the comebacks the brothers throw at their rivals, Megan and Heather adding onto the hilarious tone.
All in all, “White Chicks” is recommended for those who enjoy comedies and also action films. It’s mainly for teenagers and adults as it is rated PG-13 and includes inappropriate, mature language.
