Jason Dukes
- Did you have any goals this season? If so, what were they? Did you accomplish them?
My goal was to win the league and be the best team in the NE8, but we didn’t accomplish these goals at all.
- What are your future plans after high school?
To go to college and play football and go to school for business/finance
- How would you describe the season?
Things didn’t go as planned; we had a good record, but we aren’t finished yet.
- What was something that you overcame personally or as a team during the season?
I had what I thought was a season-ending injury, and hopefully I get to come back and play these last final games.
- What role do you think you play for the team?
I am the captain of the team and try to hype the team up before and during the game.
Robert Carcelli
- Did you have any goals this season? If so, what were they? Did you accomplish them?
Yes, we wanted to build off of the success from last season and go far into the playoffs again. There are also some individual awards I would like to receive.
- What are your future plans after high school?
I am going to study nursing at Youngstown State University.
- How would you describe the season?
This season is the result of what the seniors from two years ago started, and it’s our job to finish it. I feel like we’ve been underdogs my whole high school career, not just this season.
- What was something that you overcame personally or as a team during the season?
I have injured the same knee for the past two seasons and have had to fight through it.
- What role do you think you play for the team?
I am one of the captains on the team so I have to help lead the team through the good and the bad.
Vincent Boila
- Did you have any goals this season? If so, what were they? Did you accomplish them?
We had many goals to start the year, but sadly we didn’t achieve any of them. Although, some are still in reach.
- What are your future plans after high school?
My future plans are to attend college and major in biology to become a physician’s assistant and continue my football career.
- How would you describe the season?
This season was a success although we didn’t achieve some regular season goals. We are striving to make another deep run in the playoffs, and we’ll see how things pan out.
- What was something that you overcame personally or as a team during the season?
Something we overcame as a team was losing our QB in Week 3 of the season. This was something that we had to overcome and move a lot of pieces around. We figured it out and have finished now 8-2 and will be in the playoffs.
- What role do you think you play for the team?
I’m a captain for the team.
Tyler Hobart
- Did you have any goals this season? If so, what were they? Did you accomplish them?
Yes, it was to win the league, but we did not get it.
- What are your future plans after high school?
I am going to college for physical therapy.
- How would you describe the season?
It was fun but a little sad because we lost to Poland and South Range.
- What was something that you overcame personally or as a team during the season?
When Jason got hurt, I think that is something that I had to overcome to be in a good head space for me personally.
- What role do you think you play for the team?
I feel like I do a good job leading the underclassmen to be better and stronger players.
Marquise Wilkins
- Did you have any goals this season? If so, what were they? Did you accomplish them?
I accomplished 3 picks, 3 deflections and All Conference DB.
- What are your future plans after high school?
I plan to be a carpenter.
- How would you describe the season?
The season is decent. I’m not happy with our record after losing to Poland, but I do love the guys.
- What was something that you overcame personally or as a team during the season?
I believe I have gotten better at my footwork and also my eye discipline.
- What role do you think you play for the team?
I make sure the quarterback doesn’t get the ball to the receiver.
