“John Wick 4” is the most action packed movie of 2023. 

This is John Wick’s (Keanu Reeves) final attempt at life. The movie begins with John taking his revenge on the elder of the high table. This gains the attention of the Marquess (Bill Skarsgård) who was given permission by the high table to use any means necessary to eliminate John Wick for good. The Marquess begins by blackmailing a close friend of John. This man, Caine (Donnie Yen) was forced to do the Marquess’s bidding and fight John. With nowhere to go, John goes to Japan’s continental hotel to meet a friend Koji (Hiroyuki Sanada) when Caine begins his attack on John. Koji gives his life to Caine helping John escape. John escapes and searches for a new way to be free from the high table. He learns he can challenge the Marquess to a duel for his freedom. The Marquess accepts the duel and chooses Caine to fight for him. John wasn’t safe just yet though; he still had to survive the night and make it to the duel on time. John fought his way through hundreds of known assassins. With the help of Caine he managed to get to the duel on time. The two men face off with dueling pistols taking shots at each other.  They had a plan to take out the Marquess, and it worked.

The action in this movie is on point. The fights are choreographed perfectly and executed just as well. This franchise never fails to show why so many are scared of John Wick and explains why the high table wants him dead.

John Wick’s story was great, and it was good to see him finally retire for good. He spent a long time as the greatest assassin. 

Overall, “John Wick “ deserves a 10/10. This was a great way to end John Wick’s story.
