Was Dalvin Tomlinson signing to the Browns a good free agency signing?

Tomlinson has had a promising career so far for his former team (The Minnesota Vikings), and we will see how he does for the Browns.

Tomlinson is excited to play with new teammates.

“With the defensive scheme, that was one of the biggest things and just how physical the defensive scheme is. It’s attacking. It’s based all on attacking, getting off the ball pretty much. Being able to use my power more to my advantage as I’m attacking everybody I line up against and just getting off the ball, I just feel it’s the best fit for me,” says Tomlinson.

As a second-round pick in 2017, he has 288 tackles in his career with 13 career sacks.

Tomlinson has had a solid career so far and is looking to be a huge factor in the Browns defensive scheme.

Tomlinson is a great defensive tackle.

“He had 42 combined tackles (20 solo), plus 2.5 sacks and 10 quarterback hits last season as a member of the Minnesota Vikings. Tomlinson, who played his college ball for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide, was a second-round draft choice in 2017 by the New York Giants, which was the same year Garrett was drafted first overall, and he mentioned how much he was looking forward to playing with the Pro Bowl defensive end and forming a friendship with him off the field,” says Robert Marvi.

Tomlinson alongside Myles Garrett and Ogbo Okoronkwo, who is another free agent pickup, are going to be a scary trio.
In all, Tomlinson has proven to be an amazing defensive tackle and will be a big factor alongside some big-name players.
“I’m super excited to play with Myles. I’m excited to get out there and meet everybody and build some chemistry with the rest of the defensive line and go out here and make some plays. You can expect a dawg. A guy who wants to help everybody get better and now be selfish on the field. We’re only as strong as our weakest link. I’m going to bring everybody together and go out here and get some wins,” says Tomlinson.
