Fans are highly anticipating UFC 287 for the simple fact of how fast pace and technical the striking will be.

One of the earlier fights fans get to see is Kevin Holland (23-9-0) versus Santiago Ponzinibbio (30-6). Holland is an upcoming welterweight fighter, with his main fighting style being Kung Fu, an often forgotten style of fighting in the octagon.

Holland has the reach and height advantage, while Santiago has six more years of experience.

Holland is also the favored fighter by -158, this means in order to win 100 dollars, you have to put down 158 dollars.

“The official pick here is Holland’s moneyline up to -170. At the time of writing, FanDuel has Holland at -158,” says New York Post writer Erich Richter.

The co-main event fight is two very tough men who hit hard and can take a punch: Gilbert Burns (21-5) and Jorge Masvidal (35-16). It has been a while since fans have seen Jorge in the ring, and coming back to fight Burns is crazy. Masvidal is not afraid of anything.

Even with Masvidal having the heart of a lion, Burns is still the favored fighter between the two. People predict Burns will dominate over Jorge.

“Moneyline is the only betting option at the moment, making a Burns outright win at -520 odds the best bet for now,” says writer Devon Platana. This means you have to put 520 dollars down in order to gain 100.

Alex Pereira (7-1) vs Israel (Izzy) Adesanya (23-2-0). Fans have seen these two meet before, once in UFC and twice in kickboxing. Each and every time they have met, Pereira was the winner; each bout is always a close fight and never too one sided but, Adesanya just pulls through with the win every time.

Despite Adesanya being beaten every time, each bout was a close fight, so he is the favored fighter.

“Though he’s lost to Pereira three times now, Adesanya is the slight early favorite at -155 in many sportsbooks,” says analyst Gage Miskimen.

Every round–scratch that–every second is going to be filled with action. So, be ready to tune into these fighters on April 8th, fights start at 10 p.m.
