Kings Island is an amusement park in Mason, OH, which spans across 364-acres of land. The park originally opened April 29, 1972, and the park slogan is “It’s Amazing In Here.” 

Kings Island tickets can be purchased on their website and day passes cost anywhere from $39.99 to $29.99. This park also offers season passes; where annual passes can range from $14 a month to $47 a month depending on the level of pass that you decide to purchase. Kings island also has a special event every now and again. The next one coming is called Coasterstock, and it is happening on May 19th through May 20th of 2023. 

Kings Island has a number of many different rides that it offers to the guests of the park. One of Kings Island’s more thrill seeking rides is called the Banshee. This roller coaster reaches speeds of up to 68 miles per hour and lasts an gripping three minutes. The ride loops, drops, and rolls. The 4,124-foot long coaster has a zero gravity roll and seven stomach-churning inversions. 

A new addition to the Kings Island park is the Soak City Water Park, coming May 27, 2023. With 50+ water activities, including the 36 water slides that are soon to come. The one water slide called the Mondo Monsoon is a water slide that you and your friends ride down on a tube. For those that don’t enjoy the more thrill-seeking ride, there is also the Splash River. Splash River is the Kings Island version of the iconic lazy river that most water parks feature. All of the attractions and more to come to Kings Island during next May.
