The Cleveland Browns ended their season with a record of 7-10, heading into free agency with optimism for the next season.

The Browns have wide receivers, defensive tackles, and linebackers at the top of their list. They are rumored to target first in free agency.

Many people are attracted to the thought of playing with the new Browns’ QB Deshaun Watson. Deandre Hopkins and Watson used to play together on the Houston Texans.

Hopkins says he “loves” the idea of them reuniting as they used to be one of the best duos in the league.

“Hopkins is willing to “be flexible” with his new team regarding the last two years of his contract,” states NFL analyst Ian Rappoport.

The Browns also have their eyes on two defensive tackles: Dre’Mont Jones and Javon Hargrave. The Browns lacked most at the DT position last year and are looking to fill that void this year.

Jones is almost a guarantee to land with the Browns as he looks forward to the opportunity of playing with his hometown team.

“It’s really exciting. It’s an honor to have your hometown team be interested in you. So that alone, I appreciate it,” says Jones.

The Browns need to fill another one of their needs from last year, which is a linebacker. At the end of the season, almost every LB on the main roster was injured, they even had to sign some players from their practice squad.

The reoccurring injury of Jeramiah Owusu-Koramoah was what hurt the Browns the most as he is the best linebacker on the team. However, the Browns have their eyes set on Bears LB, Nicholas Morrow.

“Browns have linebacker Nicholas Morrow on their radar as the free agency tampering period opens up tomorrow,” states NFL analyst Brad Stainbrook.

Now we wait for free agency to officially begin in hope of the Browns making some noise in free agency.
